Invasive Species Removal
March 20th, 2010 § 1
Some HIHO members visited the Puohala Marsh in Waipahu this morning. We worked in partnership with the Hawaii Nature Center to remove Mangrove out of the marsh. Remember, invasive doesn’t necessarily mean bad, it just means that it doesn’t belong here. This great day of chopping and sawing directly benefits their elementary educational program. Find out more at their website.
